Nate Faust is the head of US eCommerce Supply Chain and Logistics at Walmart and a co-founder of Jet.com, which was acquired by Walmart in September 2016. Nate manages teams across inventory management, fulfillment, network strategy and optimization, operations engineering, and inbound and outbound transportation for Walmart US eCommerce to ensure products are always in stock and delivered on time and efficiently to customers.
Prior to the acquisition by Walmart, Nate was the COO of Jet.com where he oversaw inventory management, fulfillment, transportation, customer service, and the JetEngine team (the behind the scenes analytics and optimization that drive real-time variable pricing and search results on Jet.com).
Before Jet, Nate was a member of the senior leadership team and Vice President of special operations at Quidsi, the parent company of Diapers.com, Soap.com and other specialty sites, that was acquired by Amazon in 2011. At Quidsi, Nate led development of all of Quidsi’s operational systems and created one of the fastest delivery networks in ecommerce. Before Quidsi, Nate was a consultant at Oliver Wyman and worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated cum laude with a BSE in Operations Research & Financial Engineering (ORFE) from Princeton. While at Princeton, Nate was president of the Foundation for Student Communication, publisher of Business Today magazine.
Nate is married to Heather Fleming Faust ’02, co-founder and Managing Director of Argand Partners, a middle-market private equity firm.
