On Class Day, ORFE major Benjamin Laufer '19 received the 2019 Urban Studies Thesis Prize Award. This award was bestowed on Benjamin by the Program in Urban Studies for his thesis titled: "Compounding Injustice: History and Prediction in Carceral Decision-Making." Benjamin's advisors were ORFE Professor Miklos Racz and Eduardo Morales, Professor of Economics and Public Affairs.

On Monday, June 3rd all 66 students of The Great ORFE Class of 2019 celebrated Class Day. On this special day prizes are given from eight prize categories. This group of twelve students are the prize recipients. A list of the winners and their thesis titles can be found on the Undergraduate Awards page.
