Professor Ludovic Tangpi is a recipient of the inaugural MGB-SIAM Early Career Fellowship (MSEC).  This fellowship is a joint commitment of the Mathematically Gifted & Black (MGB), a site which highlights the contributions and lives of Black mathematicians, and the Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (SIAM).  This pairing reflects a commitment to promote long-term engagement with MGB and SIAM fellows and “continued success within the wider applied mathematics and computational sciences community.”

As part of this fellowship Prof. Tangpi will co-organize a mini-symposium in his research area and also present a talk at one of the Workshop Celebrating Diversity sessions.
