The annual Princeton Smart Driving Car Summit organized by ORFE Professor Alain Kornhauser and held at Princeton University was the catalyst for the City of Trenton's new project Trenton Mobility & Opportunity: Vehicle Equity System (MOVES) whose goal is to “deploy 100 autonomous vehicles throughout the city to provide low cost, environmentally friendly transportation”.

This $5 million state grant was pursued after an intern of the mayor of Trenton attended a Princeton University lecture on autonomous vehicles & then followed up with Professor Kornhauser. Prof. K. says "I feel strongly that if Trenton MOVES the world improves".
