Two honors were bestowed on Professor Ahmadi this spring. The first, the 2017 DARPA Faculty Award, which “is the career award of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and aims to identify and engage rising research stars in junior faculty positions at U.S. academic institutions." The other award was given by the Princeton University chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. “The students define the criteria for excellence in teaching as skill in instruction, commitment to working with and building relationships with undergraduates, and the ability to spark students’ intellectual interests.” (Promislo, Susan) Office of Communications, Princeton University
