ORFE Assistant Professor Jason Klusowski was awarded a 2025 Sloan Research Fellowship in mathematics. The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation awards these fellowships to early-career scholars who represent the most promising scientific researchers. 

Professor Klusowski’s research uses tools from statistics and optimization to study and improve large-scale AI systems. He focuses on understanding their inferential mechanisms to make them more transparent, reliable, and effective.
