Professor Tangpi is the 2023 recipient of the American Mathematical Society's Claytor-Gilmer Fellowship.  The Claytor-Gilmer Fellowship was established in 2021 to further excellence in mathematics research and to help generate wider and sustained participation by Black mathematicians.
