ORFE Professor Amir Ali Ahmadi received the SEAS Distinguished Teaching Award for his positive impact on students through teaching mathematical optimization courses at the undergraduate and the PhD level.  One student noted the professor as “patient, warm and deeply concerned with the well-being of his students”.  Vice Dean Kahn said that students have repeatedly recognized Prof. Ahmadi as being among the school’s top teachers.

The Distinguished Teaching Award from the School of Engineering and Applied Science recognizes a sustained record of excellence in teaching.
