ORFE Assistant Professor Klusowski wins Howard B. Wentz, Jr., Junior Faculty Award

April 12, 2023

Professor Jason Klusowski will use his Howard B. Wentz, Jr., Junior Faculty Award, given by the School of Engineering and Applied Science, to fund his research.  The aim of his research is to establish a fundamental theoretical understanding of the interplay between statistical accuracy, computational complexity, and interpretability for modern machine learning algorithms, particularly in large-scale data settings.  To further this goal, Prof. Klusowski is grateful for the support provided by this award, which will enable him to recruit graduate students and share research findings with the broader community through various channels, including workshops, conferences, and seminars.
