ORFE Professor Bartolomeo Stellato and co-authors have been awarded the 2020 Best Paper Award from the journal Mathematical Programming Computation. The paper introduced OSQP, an industry-grade open-source software for solving quadratic optimization problems which features a novel algorithm that is impervious to bad-quality data and suitable for embedded and real-time optimization. With more than 2 million downloads, OSQP is used in leading software, finance, engineering, and robotics companies, as well as in universities and research laboratories worldwide.
