This Fall the ORFE department welcomed Ludovic Tangpi as its newest Assistant Professor. Ludovic obtained his Master's degree from Stellenbosch University in Cape Town. Thereafter, he started his doctoral studies in Mathematics at Humboldt University in Berlin, through a scholarship of the Berlin Mathematical School. His thesis was completed in 2015 jointly with the University of Konstanz and was followed by a three-year postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Vienna. Ludovic’s research broadly focuses on the application of stochastic analysis and probability theory to finance. Ludovic enjoys long distance running and is a fan of Real Madrid and of the Philadelphia 76ers.
