The Undergraduate Class of 2013 has extended an honorary class membership to Professor Erhan Çinlar. Hanna Xinyue Tian '13, representing her fellow classmates, made the announcement as part of today’s Class Day departmental reception, with Professor Çinlar in attendance. Citing Prof. Cinlar’s work with students in both ORF309 and beyond, the class recognized his enthusiasm for teaching, accessibility, and his enlightening grasp of probability theory as factors that uniquely shaped their Princeton experience.

Each year, the undergraduate student body holds a nominating process for honorary class membership candidates. Selection of honorary members is finalized by the class council and approved by ODUS.
