Congratulations to Yang Fang who successfully defended his PhD dissertation, May 6, 2010.   His thesis is titled, High-dimensional Statistical Learning and Nonparametric Modeling.
 
Yang received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2006 from University of Science and  Technology of China.  His research interests are in High-dimensional Statistical Learning, Variable Selection, Nonparametric and Semi-parametric Statistics, and Bioinformatics.
