ORFE Alum Receives NSF Grad Research Fellowship

The ORFE Department would like to congratulate Devaushi Singham '04, who recently received The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. The Fellowship provides tuition, fees and stipend for 3 years of graduate study. 

Dashi was an ORFE major and is currently a first year PhD student in the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department at UC Berkeley. After graduating from Princeton in 2004, Dashi worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in the risk and quantitative analysis group for two years. 

Dashi's senior thesis, titled "The Option to Abandon As Applied to the Sequential Investment Problem" was written under the direction of Professor Savas Dayanik.
