Prof. Savas Dayanik receives New Researcher Award

Professor Savas Dayanik has received the 2006 Tweedie New Researcher Award. As the award recipient, he will present the Tweedie New Researcher Invited Lecture at the 2006 New Researchers Conference in Seattle, Washington, August 1-5, 2006. The Tweedie New Researcher Award was recently created by action of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics Council in honor of Richard L. Tweedie, who played a significant role throughout his professional career in mentoring young colleagues at work and through professional society activities. Congratulations Savas!
