The Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University invites applications for a new faculty appointment starting September 1, 2012. The position is at the tenure-track assistant professor level.

To be successful, the candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence in research and in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates working either in statistics or in machine learning.

The department is in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, and is involved in the activities of the Bendheim Center for Finance, the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics, and other interdisciplinary programs.
