This year, ORFE Professor Erhan Çinlar and graduate student teaching assistant Ilya Ryzhov for the course ORF309, "Probability and Stochastic Systems". Outstanding Teaching Commendation List Announced

ORFE congratulates Professors Patrick Cheridito, Erhan Çinlar, and Alexandre d'Aspremont on their Commendations for Outstanding Teaching during the Fall 2007 semester.  Also making the list is ORFE Graduate Student Kazutoshi Yamazaki, whose commendation comes by way of departmental nomination. ORFE Senior awarded Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Princeton Senior Mateusz Plucinski is one of two recipients of this year's Gates Cambridge Scholarships.  The scholarship is awarded to approximately 100 students outside of the UK each year.  The award affords students the opportunity to further their study at the University of Cambridge.

Mateusz plans to build on his education here in the department and as vice-president of the Princeton Operations Research Society and continue his study in the field of computational research. (via News at Princeton)
